Lords of Light Prototypes

These entries cover the unmade heroic Izzurian side and the prototype material that collectors associate with PAC Toys' unfinished second act. The green cardback lineup is treated as the historical example; the four large render images are labeled as 3D concept renders, not vintage product photos.

Prototype Context

  • After Mego folded, PAC Toys built Lords of Light around retooled Micronauts-style tooling and a glow-stick chest feature.
  • The line had a comic insert and commercial promotion planned, but legal/business trouble cut the launch short; the four villain Evilites are the only known retail action figures.
  • The good-guy Izzurian side, vehicles, and ride-on concepts are the "what might have been" part of the line.
  • Plaid Stallions documents a later rediscovery of the Leborio prototype, describing it as an Izzurian battle computer with a removable head for placing a glow stick in its chest.
